Sinapore, October 12, 2022 - Bluewhale Offshore Pte. Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with CNOOC China to utilize its semisubmersible rig Bluewhale I on the South of China Sea. The new contract is expected to commence in Fourth Quarter of 2022, and the contract period is approximately two and half years.  

Bluewhale I, 7^th generation ultra deepwater drilling unit of the Frigstad D90 design under DNV Class, is under its’ first 5 years SPS at Yantai CIMC yard, after last contract with CNOOC at LS project.
